The SuperLoader 3A incorporates Quantum’s revolutionary technology developed specifically as a storage solution for professional video environments with file-based workflows.
By leveraging standard video industry formats and proven IT industry standard tapes and drives, the Quantum SuperLoader 3A accommodates 1 or 2 magazines. Each magazine holds 8 data cartridges for a total of 16 cartridges, all housed within a two rack-unit enclosure. The SuperLoader 3A includes a gigabit Ethernet interface and a built-in FTP server, so it can be network attached and visible to every workstation. It also includes Quantum’s “MXF-aware” direct access to metadata and allows subclip access to content by timecode.
